The guy just keeps talking.
You sit there, quietly nodding along.
Inside you’re screaming “Dude, get to the point”. Or “I don’t care about that, what I asked was…”
But you don’t barge in. Because you are polite, civil member of society.
You know there are rules. Like “Don’t be a dick.”
This can happen in your case study interviews.
You ask something like “What was it like to use the program?”
Then you get a rant that kinda answers the question but not really.
So how do you get the person to stay on point?
Especially because this is a nice person who’s taking the time out of their day to sing your praises.
You can’t be rude.
But you can’t let this continue. Or the time will be up before you get anything you can actually use.
