There’s a hot not-so-new trend of people freaking out about how people’s attention spans are shorter… how it’s so hard to get people’s eyeballs on your copy and have them read the whole thing.
I’ve got a simple 2 step fix for that.
First, don’t focus on making your copy shorter. Focus on making it better. Share inspiring stories, valuable lessons, and content that makes their lives better.
Second, present your content in a way that’s fun and easy to engage with.
The New York Times did an amazing job of that with this article they wrote on the Notre -Dame fire.
I breakdown what they did and show how you can do similar things (even if you don’t have the fancy graphic design they have) in your copy.
